"I recently ordered a Bassbone V2 preamp/ DI for my setup. Finally got to check it out last night in Oklahoma. It was the first time I got to try it in a real world scenario. The results were outstanding! I used Channel A with the “Tone 2” preset with my Music Man Stingray 5. Other than a little bit of a gain adjustment on the monitor console, I was able to “plug and play” without much of anything in terms of adjustments to my mix. After the show, our FOH engineer approached me and asked if I had made any changes to my equipment. I told him that I switched DI’s to a Radial Bassbone V2 and he let me know that he noticed a big difference out front…much more low-end clarity and a more “even” tone across the spectrum. Obviously, I agree! I have a good feeling that the Bassbone is gonna have a long-term spot on my board for the foreseeable future! "
