Duties/Accountabilities

• Diagnose products that are failing production line test procedures.
• Support Production with line repairs.
• Support Production with Work Instruction modifications.
• Support Customer Repairs team.
• Document repairs and non-conformances and circulate information to Supply Chain.
• Observe repair and non-conformance trends and communicate issues to Engineering.

Required Education and Experience

• Electrical Technology Diploma
• Previous experience working in the electronics industry an asset.
• Previous experience working in a production environment an asset.
• Previous experience writing test procedures an asset.
• Experience in the Music Industry considered an asset.
• A person with a musical background is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, and Required Competencies

• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong knowledge of electronic principles, circuits, and components.
• Comfortable troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Comfortable in an electronics laboratory setting.
• Strong knowledge of electronics laboratory equipment: power supplies, function generators, scopes, and analyzers.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics and PCB assembly drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 software suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Comfortable navigating PCB layout software (PADS and/or Altium)
