Duties/Accountabilities
- Diagnose products that are failing production line test procedures.
- Support Production with line repairs.
- Support Production with Work Instruction modifications.
- Support Customer Repairs team.
- Document repairs and non-conformances and circulate information to Supply Chain.
- Observe repair and non-conformance trends and communicate issues to Engineering.
Required Education and Experience
- Electrical Technology Diploma
- Previous experience working in the electronics industry an asset.
- Previous experience working in a production environment an asset.
- Previous experience writing test procedures an asset.
- Experience in the Music Industry considered an asset.
- A person with a musical background is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Required Competencies
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong knowledge of electronic principles, circuits, and components.
- Comfortable troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Comfortable in an electronics laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of electronics laboratory equipment: power supplies, function generators, scopes, and analyzers.
- Ability to read and comprehend schematics and PCB assembly drawings.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 software suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Comfortable navigating PCB layout software (PADS and/or Altium)
